PROFESSIONAL experiencE

To take advantage of the opportunity to combine work experience with studies is essential both to complement the lack of the disciplinary knowledge acquired along the degree and to learn new aspects not taught until the moment.

RSP ARCHITECTS PLANNERS & ENGINEERS (singapore)

My first contact in the professional world took place in a small office, but comprising workers who had great qualities both human and professional.

I participated in the definition of the first proposals for various projects (design and pre-sized) and in the development of the construction details, sections and elevations for a mall, a car dealership and a school.

My architecture practices carried out last summer in Singapore offered me a professional experience completely contrary to the previous one. I found myself in an office led by Dr. Liu Thai Ker, noted mainly in both Singapore and China for its master planning projects.

I became involved in the urban development project for Xi'an and I mainly worked in the design and construction details of the new business school ESSEC. Also, I had the opportunity to combine the office work with the tracing in the site.

I had the fortune to work in two completely different architectural offices, placed in different continents and, consequently, characterised by opposite cultures and traditions. It has allowed me to have a broader vision of architecture and to learn from different professional profile.
