maintain the style of an Eixample block, aligning the front profile of the street, keeping the existing vegetation, making the most of its compact volume and integrating everything for an interior public space.
The proposal for a new market in the Eixample distric has to be appropriately integrated into the local environment and provide a new public space for leisure and meeting. For this reason, I proposed to
facilities:
It is the project where facilities have been devolved in a more completed way. There is an extremely consideration in the distribution of spaces according to needed demand.
ambience:
There is a careful attention to preview the spaces that the market provides. The materiality and brightness play an important role in the definition of my proposal, as it is seen in the perspectives.
structure:
The structure of this project is the element in charge to determine the different spaces. It is also used to provide brightness in the interior of the market.
I place the market and supermaket on the ground floor, to be easily accessible, and services and parking at level -1. The offices are located on the mezzanine, operating in the background and defined as a separate, more private, space. They are also situated overlooking the market and supermarket.
construction:
After having acquired enoguh knowledge of the construction subject, I have been able to specify the design I had in my mind through the construction details.
LOCATION:
The previous urban analysis is essential to understand the shape of my project. I managed to design a market that is integrated into the environment where it is located.
representation:
I work simultaneously with different graphing in favor to describe in a more appropriately way according to each case. Computer drawing difficult me to express the intentionality of my proposal.
