which is enhanced by accessing it via ramps, permitting a higher construction. The whole building is distributed around a central courtyard, benefitting from the entreance of natural lighting.
This project is to design an Islamic center that features a mosque and library area, auditorium, café and restaurant, showroom and housing for the imam. My proposed building focuses on a monumental feeling,
facilities:
In this project facilities have been devolved in a completed way. It has been considered: water supply, water drainage, electricity, refrigeration, ventilation... There is an extremely consideration in the distribution of spaces according to needed demand.
ambience:
I have a clear image of how I want the interior ambience looks like, where the natural light plays an essential role. However, I was not able to simulate this interior perception in the proposed Islamic civic center.
structure:
The structure of this project is extremely simple, because it does not contribute to define the different spaces. It is placed in the facade to provide large interior spaces.
construction:
Construction details allow me to make more understandable the character of the facade and the composition of used materials to acquire the interior ambience.
representation:
I work simultaneously with different graphing in favor to describe in a more appropriately way according to each case. Computer drawing difficult me to express the intentionality of my proposal.
LOCATION:
Faced with a site that could have had an importan role, my projects forgot any previous analysis of the environment. It is located in a particular area isolated form any context, without worrying to be integrated into the environment.
