This subject allows to know and to understand the typological structure of the main elements of the building such as foundation, structure, facades and roofs. It also permits to be able to develop solutions for singular points of the usual construction.

The knowledge of the technical and construction rules, and the material characteristics permit to solve the passive environmental conditioning, including thermal and acoustic insulation, climate control, energy efficiency and natural lighting. In addition, it is acquired an adequate knowledge of ecology, sustainability, principles of energy conservation and environmental resources.
